1. Read article everyday
When you get sense of reading you will get comprehension easily. The only way to get it you have to read as much as you can.
2. Use your imagination
When you read something you have to involve the world of writer. You have to you use your imagination and draw it into your head. For example when you read about world war, you can imagine a sniper, soldier, or whatever that can make you enjoy while reading.
3. Try to love your material
Sure we cannot choose a good material or article when we are in exam. So you have to love it, make your text book as a comic book, or something that you want to know.
4. Avoid reread to much
When you are not really understand about some sentence or paragraph, you can reread it at least once or twice but not too much, remember it can waste your time, in fact, understanding something new it will spending a lot of time. On the other and you also may find the meaning after you read all of paragraph or sentence. So don't don't get stuck.
5. Practice
You can practice, read and read again by using different text. You can count your reading speed by using stopwatch. But you also have to measure how well your comprehension.
